PTU - Beach Fun 05-12-12_BeachFun_VenomousCreations

This tutorial was written by me on May 12, 2012, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

Please leave some love when downloading supplies. The artists/creators work hard to make/share their work with us, so let's be appreciative. Please use all correct copyright information. Let’s give credit where credit is due. ??

As always, tutorials are only a guideline. If you don't have the exact supplies, use ones you have or ones you choose.

Supplies:

PTU Scrap Kit – Beach Party by the talented Irish Bitch Designs

Font of choice – I used “Miss Cosmonautica”

In psp, open a new image 600x250.

Open “sand” element – copy/paste onto image as a new layer

Resize and place towards bottom of image – using your deform tool, pull in on top and sides to shape -  sharpen

C/P element “water2” as new layer – resize and position under sand, again, using deform tool to shape – sharpen

C/P Palm Tree as new layer – resize – sharpen – place to right of tag

Duplicate the tree

Image – Mirror – resize once – sharpen - position beside first tree

C/P the following elements – resizing – sharpening – placing where you like:

Flip Flops

Shovel & Pail

Beachball

Life Preserver

Coconuts

Sign

Add a drop shadow to tube and all element layers ( not the water or sand )

0_0_50_10_Black

Add all correct copyright information

Now add your name in font of choice – Mine is done in Cosmonautica_72_Black

Position so part is over the sand and part is over the water using nodes to stretch/squish as needed

Convert to raster layer

Add same drop shadow as the elements

Change blend mode to Overlay

Save and you’re done!!
